#SexySnippets with a hint of the loch...

Welcome to #SexySnippets

Seven sentences from a book or WIP

(okay sometimes it's eight...shhh, our secret...)

Today we're in Scotland. (and its not raining)

So what better to do than go for a paddle...

...first she needed to find the sodding canoe.

Emma knew she was a well above average swimmer, and could have, in another time and place swum for her country. But hell, it was Scotland, a deep loch and three a.m. in the morning.

Plus she was without a wet suit and although it might allegedly be summer-ish, in Scotland the lochs were always cold as soon as you got into more than a couple of feet of water.

So swimming wasn’t on, unless, as her mum said, needs must and at the moment needs didn’t.

After all, once she did find and get into the canoe she could paddle and ponder on everything else she had to do.

All day a tingly, nasty ‘something is up’ itch slid down her back. It was ten times worse now, and Emma almost laughed—it was the only itch she ever had these days that she could do anything about.
