Start the week with Val and Family Forever

Hi all,

I'm lucky enough to have the fabulous Valerie
Clarizio with me today along with her book, Family Forever.

- Book blurb

The death of Dylan’s parents leave his five younger brothers and the family dairy farm in his care.
Neighbor Marissa, raised by an alcoholic father, seeks a way out. Desperate for help, Dylan offers her a live-in nanny/housekeeper position. She jumps at the opportunity.  The chaotic household, full of love, feeds her maternal instincts. She falls for Dylan and the boys.
When Dylan finds himself desiring Marissa, he pulls back. His heart has been broken in the past by women resistant to a large, ready-made family. But if she walks away, she’d not only break his heart but those of his brothers, too.
Will Dylan ever believe in Marissa’s devotion to his family, risk his heart, and those of his brothers, for the woman he loves?

Meet Dylan...

Name:  Dylan Jacobs
Gender:  Male
Age: Twenty-four
Profession:  Dairy Farmer and caretaker for five younger brothers
Do you have any special skills or training?  Just my business degree and farming skills.
How would you describe yourself?  Patient
Who is your significant other(s)?  Though I seem to be fighting it every step of the way, Marissa Geyer is on my radar.
How would they describe you?  Loyal
Tell us about your family.
I grew up in a farming community in small town Wisconsin.  My parents were killed in a car accident when I was twenty-two.  I inherited five younger brothers and the family farm.
What do you think was left unsettled in your story?
I hope to raise my brothers in a manner which would make our parents proud, and though I love my brothers dearly, I can't help but wonder if they'll ever feel they've been loved as much as a parent could.  I was lucky enough to experience the true, unconditional love of a parent.  I fear my younger brothers, especially the two little ones, won't remember our parents and the magnitude of their love for us.
If you could change anything about your story what would it be?
I would change history by preventing the accident that took our parents from us.

and a wee tease...

After pulling a foiled packet from his pocket, he pushed down his pants and underwear at the same time. Her breath caught in her throat at the sight of his erection. It was everything she imagined it would be. Nervous anticipation skittered through her at the thought of her inexperience. She hoped she’d be able to please him. She sucked in a calming breath and blew it out as she watched him sheath himself. It crossed her mind to reach over and do it for him but she didn’t want him to see her shaky hands. Why was she so nervous? She was finally getting exactly what she had wanted for so long.
He slid in beside her, propping himself on his elbow, and she flung the covers over the both of them. His gentle fingers stroked her cheek and skimmed over her jaw and onto her neck before his lips met hers in a gentle, loving manner. Not rushed or hard, like a few minutes earlier. His hand delicately cupped her breast, and fingertips brushed over her nipple before working their way over to her other breast. The stimulation shot another slight jolt of pleasure between her thighs. His lips pressed a little more firmly to hers and his tongue dove deeper into the depths of her mouth as his hand lowered and splayed across her stomach, and continued to move lower. When he pressed his palm to her mound a flash of heat nearly lit her on fire. He dipped a finger into her wetness and probed for a moment before pulling out and circling her swollen clit. Desire cracked through her like a whip and she arched toward him.
Dylan rolled above her, holding the bulk of his weight on his elbows. The need in his eyes was unmistakable, but it was the depth of love emitting in his gaze that calmed her, stole her heart, and let her know she was doing the right thing.
A tinge of vulnerability passed over his face. What was that about? Then he opened his mouth as if to speak but no words came out. She waited out his hesitation. He blinked, sucked in a deep breath and let it out. “I love you. You know that, right?”
Her heart slammed in her chest. Tears pooled in her eyes. Deep down she already knew how he felt about her but to hear the words come from his mouth with such sincerity blew her away.
Dylan swiped his thumb over her cheek, drying a tear that escaped her. “What’s the matter? Are you okay?” he asked with a hint of panic in his tone.
“Everything is fine. In fact, it’s perfect. I love you, too. I have for a long time.”
His gentle lips found hers, and he pressed himself into her. Long, slow strokes filled her. He nipped at her lips and then slid his mouth down the side of her neck further sensitizing her already sensitive skin. It didn’t matter where he touched, every nerve ending in her body was already on fire.
As her hands roamed over his heated skin, his muscles flexed underneath her touch. His strokes came quicker and deeper. He reached between their bodies and dragged his thumb over her swollen bead. Her breath hitched. With each stroke of her inner walls and flick of her inflamed bud, her inner muscles tightened, waves of sensation built inside her. She couldn’t hold back any longer, she was going to come. Her body arched up as she cried out Dylan’s name and ecstasy broke over her. The degree of pleasure racing through her body was immeasurable, total bliss. She latched onto his shoulders as her body shook and shuddered beneath his. He drove deeper into her clenching walls and within seconds a groan of pleasure escaped his lips.
His hot body pressed to hers. Their rapid breaths and her thudding heart were the only sounds she heard in the moments that followed. In time, their breaths returned to normal.
Dylan rolled off her, pulling her along with him. She snuggled into the crook of his arm and placed her hand against his chest. His heartbeat tapped against her palm, soothing her. His love surrounded her, comforting her, letting her know they had done the right thing, and he was hers as much as she was his.
