NINE FOR THE WEEK. with Cherie Nicholls

The (nearly) Naughty Nine with      Cherie Nicholls
This week's naughty nine, have a paranormal.twist.
Welcome Cherie to Raven's Nine for the Weekend. Glad you could drop by.

Q        We'll get this one over first, tell us a little bit about yourself.
A  My name is Cherie, I am an author of paranormal romances. I also come from a very big family so at any one time I am a daughter, sister, sister in law, aunt, great aunt, aunt in law and god mother……

Q Thanks, now we can probe a bit more. What are you writing at the moment? Going to share any of it with us? (I know thats really two questions, but hey we will call it a and b)
A I am trying to write book two of my Shifters of Hillside series.  This is about Zane and Abby, who is the cousin of Laney St Clair from my first book Leashed by a Wolf

Q        How long have you been writing?
A         Short answer? Forever. I have always written since my early teens. But have only taken it seriously  in the last year really

Q        What is your favorite genre? To write or read.
A         Paranormal to both read and write and also I like to read some BDSM romance books too to spice things up a little too.

Q        Where do you prefer to write? What do you wear? And eat? (OK, I know this is cheating as well, but we need all the gen in our naughty nine)
A         I write either sitting on the sofa at home in the evening or at my desk during my lunch break at my day job. I am lucky my boss thinks its majorly cool that I write! I find comfy clothes are best for me to write in and I have to have music playing in my ears!

Q        So three things you love
A         my family
            My friends
            My mums shephards pies

Q        Three you don't
A         small minded people who judge the author by what they write. I write paranormal romances, doesn’t mean I worship the devil!
            Bullies
Men I can make cry…..really its takes all the fun out of it when they sob….

Q        Three things you would like to happen in the next three years? Feel free to add to the three things you don't,
A         I would love to take my mum on a cruise to NYC, she is not very well and I think it would be fun for us I think
To be able to give up the day job to concentrate on writing full time
Potentially to start a family, yes I know does my bog family really need more in it? Yep I think they do!

That's it painless eh? Thanks for dropping by and giving us a peek into your life. Feel free to add any links to blogs websites etc so we can all find out what you are up to.

this weekends dirty dozen ... Hmmmmmmm wow

Warning-erotica!

“You say that is disposed to fit into us?”

Two pairs of eager and interested eyes gazed in impatient awe as his cock sprang free. Hard, throbbing, and demanding attention, its knob purple, its veins standing out along its length.

“Now,” he drawled as he took it in his hand and slowly began to caress it. “In the absence of a body to bury itself in, or a pair of lips willing to suck on it and pull it into a warm, wet mouth, it receives first hand attention. In this case, from my hands, unless either of you wishes to offer your help?”

No shock, he noted with pleasure, but interest, although they both shook their heads, seemingly regretfully.

“Not this time, Ivo. Take this as your audition. Perchance, I should say, our audition?” Bella smirked. “For if we do not like what we see or do not react as you think we should, there will be no reason to continue.”

Nine For the Week, Your Monday Morning Pick Me Up. With D.C.Juris.

This weeks naughty nine, have a transgender twist.
Welcome Daniel to Raven's Nine for the week. Glad you could drop by.
Q We'll get this one over first, tell us a little bit about yourself.
A Hi there! ::waves:: Thanks for having me! I'm DC Juris, and I'm a transgender fella who writes GLBTQ and heterosexual smut...er.. ::cough:: romance. I mean, romance.

Q Thanks, now we can probe a bit more. What are you writing at the moment? Going to share any of it with us? (I know thats really two questions, but hey we will call it a and b)
A I actually have 21 WIPs at the moment. I'm one of those folks who doesn't like to share actual parts of unfinished works, however, I'll say that among my stack is a re-write of "On God's Honor," (my angel story), a story about life in the aftermath of a zombie infestation, a story about being outed as gay at the family reunion, and a hot little number about a NYC writer who goes down on the farm (literally) to do some research for a book.

Q How long have you been writing?
A Since before I entered Kindergarten. I wrote my first story in crayon on the walls of my bedroom.

What is your favorite genre? To write or read.
A I'll read anything if it's well written. For writing, I prefer contemporary or fantasy.

Q Where do you prefer to write? What do you wear? And eat? (OK, I know this is cheating as well, but we need all the gen in our naughty nine)
A I have a writing office where I do most of my editing and whatnot, but I can write anywhere. In fact I've got pens and notebooks in every room of the house. LOL What do I wear? Depends on the day! Usually something comfy if I've planned to write, but I can write in anything. Eating...I munch on various things. Mostly Bob's Peppermints. LOL

Q  So three things you love
A    Chocolate, drag shows, and gluten free cupcakes!

Q three you don't
A Rampant stupidity, close-mindedness, and people who spend their time worrying about other people's business instead of their own.

Q Three things you would like to happen in the next three years? Feel free to add to the three things you don't,
A  Things I'd like to happen: more publications, obviously. I'd like to find a girlfriend - that would be nice. And a little more financial security. Things I don't - doom and destruction. LOL Beyond that, I can probably handle anything!

That's it painless eh? Thanks for dropping by and giving us a peek into your life. Feel free to add any links so we can all find out what you are up to.

Thanks very much for having me! :-)

Ravens Monday PIck Me Up. Elle Amberley's Nine for the Week

Welcome to our new Monday Spot.

So today, we welcome Elle Amberley to our mid-week pick me up. The naughty nine we all want to know the answers to.
This week's naughty nine, have a Bohemian twist.

Welcome Elle to Raven's Mid Week Pick Me Up. Glad you could drop by.
Thanks for having me Raven!

Q        We'll get this one over first, tell us a little bit about yourself.
A         I’m a mum first, I homeschool my children, and I’m a writer, a messy one who doesn’t fit into neat little boxes. I like switching genres and I’m a bohemian at heart. Having lived in so many countries makes it hard to settle anywhere. Home is wherever we’re happy and together.

Q        Thanks, now we can probe a bit more. What are you writing at the moment? Going to share any of it with us? (I know thats really two questions, but hey we will call it a and b)

A         Lol, I’m finishing my Paris based novel, due out in Spring 2012, writing short stories, a bit darker than my recent book, probably more like my Literary novels. I also write poems and articles, I can’t help reacting sometimes when I see the news. My big mouth translates into furious articles, although they have been described as heartfelt so I’ll stick with that.

Q        How long have you been writing?
A         I don’t remember a time I was not writing. I was the annoying kid who wrote and rewrote essays, changing bits until the very last minute.

Q        What is your favorite genre? To write or read.
A         I don’t really have one because I have eclectic tastes. It would probably easier to tell you what I don’t like. I’m not a sci-fi fan for example. That said I recently picked up a book, loved it until I got to page ten or something and witches came in to play. I was puzzled, nearly put the book down, then persevered and absolutely loved it.
I think my favourite genre to write is whatever I happen to be writing at the time.

Q        Where do you prefer to write? What do you wear? And eat? (OK, I know this is cheating as well, but we need all the gen in our naughty nine)
A         I write almost everywhere, in the car, while I wait for my children, at the restaurant. I even wrote in the shower once...A fan heard I was often struck by inspiration while taking a shower and had these special pens sent out. Amazing, and a warning to mind what you said in interviews.
I often write in bed in the middle of the night when everything is quiet. So that answers your next question, there’s a photo of me writing in bed taken by my husband on my blog.
I often starve myself because I forget to eat so my long suffering husband brings me coffee and apple cake or other goodies.
Q        So three things you love

A         My children and my husband but I guess they’re not things.
I love books, music and playing with my children.

Q        Three you don't
A         Injustice, cruelty and anything nasty.

Q        Three things you would like to happen in the next three years? Feel free to add to the three things you don't,
A         Get my health back into shape, my children to be happy and carry on writing.

That's it painless eh? Thanks for dropping by and giving us a peek into your life. Feel free to add any links to blogs websites etc so we can all find out what you are up to.

Thanks again, so lovely to meet you and get to know your blog. Looking forward to having you on mine. Best wishes.

weekend dirty dozen Warning EROTICA

taken from to Please A lady... due out January 6th from Breathless Press

Oh the joy of having no pretense, being able to be honest and open about her enjoyment of the act of lovemaking, these last months had been so satisfying, those to come promised to be even more so. Tying the lowest set of ribbons, barely inches below those curls, Hermione could not control her compunction to sooth the throbbing concealed within. Her hand slipped beneath the ribbons, and touched. She closed her eyes to feel with her senses. Ah that first swirl through her curls and then, the sheer pleasure of touching her now wet lips, finding her fingers coated with the evidence of her desire. The intensity of her feelings shot through her like lightening and she gasped. Not from her arousal, however.

Dark velvet covered her eyes.

She gasped and felt soft hands at her nape as the covering was fastened. Then her hair was pushed to one side, and she experienced the press of lips, kissing where the ribbons from the knot of velvet brushed her back.

“My Love, you started without me? For shame. How shall I punish you?”
