Thumbs up Thursday is on Wednesday this week What have we got today?

It's Thumbs Up Thursday
(On wednesday)

I've swapped thumbs up to Wednesday this week, because the lovely Zara Stonely is here tomorrow.

A big 'glad you've decide to pop by' to new visitors. I don't bite unless you ask me, and then only on special occasions.

Welcome back—glad you're still with me—to those of you who've braved my blog again.

Another week and another Thursday. January, often called the gloomiest month in the northern Hemisphere is over half way through. We've had snow and ice, Australia has had horrendous fires.

My first thumbs up has got to be for all those people who put their lives on the line to keep the rest of us safe. There's no doubt about it.. they are our true heroes and heroines. All so often we take our firemen, ambulance drivers grit lorry operators etcetera for granted. However what on earth would we do without them?

My second is for people who tell it as it is. I recently read a book that I found fascinating, and I can only say it as the best book I've ever read. That will be my next weeks thumbs up...(keep you all guessing)

Last but not least, its not so much a thumbs up but a nail bite.

The second book in my series The House On Silk Street, A Shimmer Of Silk, is released today from www.evernightpublishing.com. At the time of writing (oh that sounds posh) I don't have the buy link, but it'll be on the site if anyone is interested. This series is gripping me, and demanding I write the next book, and the next as fast as I can type.

To whet your appetite here's the blurb for book one Silver Silk Ties

Araminta knew what she wanted, and being left on her wedding night was not it. Finding her husband in the notorious house on Silk Street, she hoped her luck had changed. Perhaps this would not be the marriage of convenience she feared. If only she could persuade him that she was indeed the sub he needed.

Meeting his new wife at the one place all deep dark desires could be satisfied, Felton wondered if he had been mistaken? Was this a marriage of mutual passion and ideals? Would she truly obey? There was only one way to find out, test her submission.

And book two, A Shimmer Of Silk

Deborah may not know the full truth of her childhood, but she knows she needs to find her soul.

During one of her performances at Silk Street, she attracts the attention of Oliver, Lord Craster. Known for his extreme tastes, he sensed a kindred soul in Deborah.
Persuading her that their needs mesh proves a challenge, even to a man of his experience.
Will Oliver be the man she needs to unlock her secrets? Or will his dominance scare her too much to even try?
Are the nightmares simply too strong?

Take care everyone, thanks for dropping by,

Happy reading,

love R x
