Christmas Wishes... let's play...

It's the Christmas Wishes Blog Hop

...come and join in the fun...

...There's a lot going on...

...So many prizes to be won...

And

so many great blogs to read and follow.

I love Christmas. It's cold outside here in Scotland, and all warm and snuggly inside. Log fire Scented candles (Hollyberry and clove at the moment), and Christmas Music on the ipod. Perfect partner next to you, and feeding you grapes or mulled wine or whatever.

It's so easy to get caught up in the thrill of present buying, present giving and yes present receiving, you can forget what Christmas is all about. Look at the word... yup, the birth of Christ. Whether you're a Christian or not, that's what the word means. A time to give thanks, think of others and rejoice in whatever way you believe.

So maybe buying presents is a good thing? Especially when they're purchased with love and thought. It shows we care.

When our kids were little Christmas wishes went on a letter to Santa; nowadays it more likely to be in a text to me! Along with the plaintive cry "Argh what can we buy dad?" (Don't ask me, I have the same problem)

However we all try to respect each others ideas, and sort something out that's been wished for.

(I don't suppose anyone can sort out my wish of world peace can they? Along with a new pair of Uggs?

What do you wish for this Christmas?

If you comment on this blog, I'm going to draw one name at random to win a copy of Vanilla Free Christmas, the Christmas-themed anthology I'm in from Evernight Publishing.

Happy Christmas, and may all your wishes ( if legal) come true,

love R x

Connect with all the other bloggers here, and don't forget your chance to win a Nook Glow and a Kindle touch 3G.

A big thanks to the organizers,

Coffee Beans and Love Scenes

Book and Trailer Showcase

and

Full Moon Bites

Now hopefully you can link up with all the other bloggers using the list above. I say hopefully because I'm not the worlds best at adding links etcetera. Maybe I should ask for lessons as a Christmas wish?

If this doesn't work you can access all the links by going to one of the organizers sites such as ... http://cblspromotions.blogspot.co.uk/
and I humbly apologize for all your extra work.
If iI've been succesful, hey let's party...
