(try saying that in a hurry)
Happy Birthday to us all.
Do you know how great is it to be able to say Happy Birthday to us all? To be incuded as part of the Evenghit family?
I've been published as an author two years next week. That in itself is amazing, and I'll be doing a giveaway again then. However I never thought I'd acutally ever get this far.
My first EP story was in an anthology,Virgins Behaving Badly, and oh how I worried after I'd sent it off. I know how much I love writing, but I'm equally aware that of course not everyone will like what I write, or the way I write. That's life.
So when I got the yes email, I danced around the room, scared the cat, and startled te posite who happned to drive up. Luckily now he's used to me, becasue I never ever have lost that set of sensations. The nail biting bit after I've pressed send. The scary here's an email do I open it bit, and if it's a yes the dance, sing, shout, and high five bit. ( oh that still includes scaring the cats.)
I've been fortunate to be able to write both contemporary and Regency stories for Evernight, and hopefully long may that continue. But if it doesn't? Well i've still achieved my dream.
So It's a great feeling to say Happy Birthday Evernight, and be part of this blog hop.
Prizes include:
Samsung Galaxy Tab
Kindle Paperwhite
Kobo Touch
$100 Evernight and Amazon Gift Certificates
Mega Evernight Swag Pack
Plus, each author on the hop will offer his/her own special prize!
My prize is any two books from my back catalogue. Just tell me what you like best, Contemporary or Regency stories, and why.

I like the Regency stories. I find that era interesting.
ReplyDeleteI love Regencies. The clothes, the setting, the dialect/dialogue ... everything about the era is fascinating and tantalizing to me. At times I feel like I was born into the wrong century, but I am way too independent and free thinking to have actually lived back then. But living through the musings of a talented writer is something else entirely. Love your period pieces.

ReplyDeleteI like contemporary best (especially in m/m) because I can relate well to the situations.

I am fascinated by the Regency period, it is such a interesting time, they way they conducted themselves, how they dressed, the mannerisms, etc.

I prefer contemporary because they are more relatable.
