He he *rubs hands with glee*, just look who's come to visit me...

Yeah, mega chair swivel jiggle here. I grabbed Doris and her Alien Warriors...

Hello everyone, and a big thank you to Raven for allowing me to tell you a little bit about my story. Let me introduce myself first. My name is Sapphyre, and I used to live on the planet you will know as earth. Not that it’s anything like as beautiful now, as it was in your time.
I hate to tell you this, but you really didn’t look after the planet well. Pollution and wars took their toll and much faster than any of you anticipated, I’m sure. I know my mother used to tell me stories of when earth was a lovely place to live, with blue oceans, and rain that didn’t scald your skin. Everything changed when the first landmass collapsed, and governments folded, and then the Aliens arrived….
I had a very dim opinion of them before I met my Drakans. You see, life on earth now is just… hard. Crime is rife and there isn’t really a safe place anywhere unless you live up high in the mountains, away from the floods and the riots, but nowhere is safe from the visits from space.
Since the Drakans first established contact with Earth, a whole new world has opened up. In theory earth is under Drakan protection. The reality is somewhat different, as Drakan and Cirrion fight over earth. I don’t think anyone really knows why those two races are at war with each other, but Earth is kind of caught in the cross fire.
Both races raid us for what they need, and they both take human women for their own ends.
So, naturally, the last thing I wanted was to end up on a spaceship with any sort of Alien, but that is exactly what happened. There I was trying to make a living for my daughter and myself, and those two hunks walk into the bar/brothel I was living in.
I mistook them for Cirrions at first, and that didn’t go down too well, I tell you.
Anyhoo, I did mention they were hunks, right? Seven foot droolworthy specimen of male perfection, in fact, and my resolve to stay away from them, didn’t last long. They did save mine and Jayde’s life, after all… and well. A woman has needs, right?
*smiles and grins*
Needs that took me by surprise, especially when those pesky emotions get involved, but how can you resist a man or rather men who take such care of your daughter. Jayde has seen so much violence in her young life, it breaks my heart, but Alzaar and Bentaan have looked after her from the minute they rescued us off earth. It meant we finally felt safe, or as safe as one can ever feel in this war torn galaxy.
I leave you with the moment they rescue us off earth.  As you can see, I wasn’t exactly co-operative…

“Told you a visit planet side would blow away the cobwebs, Alzaar, and we got us a fine prize to boot.” His second grinned at him, and Alzaar yanked his sword out of the gut of the bar’s owner and wiped it clean on one of the table cloths. The man’s guts spilled all over the floor, and he kicked them away with a disgusted growl.
The sound of a child’s tears reached his ears, together with the frantic beating of two hearts, and he yanked the table the human female was cowered under, into the air. Bloodlust still filled his nostrils, and he hardened his heart against the wave of possessiveness and the need to protect that assaulted him the minute his gaze connected with the female’s. One hand clutched in a death grip on the back of her child’s dress, she stood to her full height, dagger raised in the air. She backed away from him and Bentaan slowly, keeping her daughter behind her at all times. With Bentaan in the way of the exit, however, and Alzaar blocking the staff entrance she had nowhere to go.
Her gaze flicked between the two men, and her shoulders slumped slightly, when her precarious situation seemed to dawn on her, yet she raised her dagger higher, and tried her best to stare them down.
“You’ll not take Jayde. You’ll have to kill me first,” she said.
“That can be arranged, human.” Her eyes widened in fear at Alzaar’s growled reply as he took several steps closer to her. He didn’t pay any attention to Bentaan’s warning shout in Drakan, too focused on this woman who dared to stand up to him, and what’s more made his body respond to her presence in completely unwanted ways. Even now, her scent, made more potent by her fear and grim determination to protect her progeny, called to him. He had no time for these emerging feelings, damn it. He didn’t want them, not now, not ever. Alzaar had buried them on that fateful day so long ago, and he never thought to need them again. Certainly not here on this hell hole of a planet, staring down a fragile human mother hell bent on protecting her child.
His grim smile made her tighten her grip on the dagger.
“I mean it. Don’t take a step closer.”
Her heart beat thundered at the pulse point in her neck and at some point during the fight her clothes had torn. Her top hung off one shoulder, exposing acres of creamy flesh, and Alzaar hardened to the point of pain at the curve of breast tissue he could see as she moved. It had been way too long since he’d felt a woman’s soft touch, and had lost himself to the sheer carnal pleasure of seeking his relief in anything other than his own hand. He shook his head to clear it of the erotic images battling in his brain. Instead, he took a closer step until she had to crane her neck to look up at him, and with just one well-placed flick of her wrist, he unarmed her. The dagger fell to the floor and he kicked it away. Bentaan picked it up and deposited it in his weapon’s belt, and he, too, advanced on the human.
One look at his second-in-command proved him to be as in thrall of her as Alzaar himself was, and that pissed him off even more. Friends a long time before Alzaar’s marriage and mating to Bentaan’s sister, they were no strangers to sharing females, but he didn’t want to share this one. Fuck he didn’t want her at all, so maybe this was the solution. Let Bentaan at her and be done with it.
“Ignore my menacing friend, here,” Bentaan said, and winked at Alzaar. “He doesn’t like planets much, and I fear we’ve already overstayed our welcome on this one. We mean you no harm, nor your daughter, but there is no time to explain any of this. Our enemies will have tracked us down by now, so unless you want to fall into Cirrion hands, I suggest you stop struggling and come with us. No one will harm you onboard our ship. You have my word on that.”
The human blinked back tears and shook her head, her gaze still darting between them frantically. It was her daughter’s muffled, “Mummy” that seemed to make up her mind for her. All the fight went out of her, just as renewed screams announced the arrival of the Cirrion shuttle.
This human space dock was neutral territory, or as neutral as the two races ever got, but all bets would be off, once the Cirrions saw the female and her daughter. These two would fetch a high price indeed on the open market, and Alzaar crunched his teeth at the thought of a child being subjected to such depravity.
The Tamarillion was a war ship, not a transport ship, but they couldn’t very well leave these two to their fates.
Before she had a chance to give her answer, Alzaar swung her over his shoulder, and ran for the exit. She screamed and kicked and pummeled his back, but he paid her no heed. He swatted her ass twice instead and her outraged scream made him smile, as the flesh wobbled under his fingertips. It seemed his human hid a curvaceous body under those baggy clothes.
“Hold still, human, you won’t get free. Bentaan has your daughter, and we need to get out of here, unless you would rather she’d be sold as a sex slave.”
Predictably she stopped struggling and her little hands fisted in the back of his tunic as she pushed herself upward, no doubt to make sure Bentaan was indeed bringing Jayde.
With an uncharacteristic grin Alzaar started running in earnest, his second’s reassuring footsteps following close behind. Shots fired and kicked up the earth under his feet, as his troops cottoned on to their commander’s predicament and opened fire from their cloaked position up above. One shot hit his arm and the human screamed and jerked. The scent of her blood filled his nostrils and Bentaan swore and overtook him, putting his big body between the advancing band of Cirrions and the wide-eyed and frightened child in his arms. Her mother went limp over his shoulder, and Alzaar whirled around with a roar to shake the ground, and opened fire on the Cirrions closest to him.
“Alzaar, now.”
At Bentaan’s shout he once again whirled around and took off at a run toward their shuttle. Bentaan activated the shields and took off the minute the hatch slid shut behind them, and Alzaar lowered his unconscious burden onto one of the padded benches.
She was too damn still, and her breathing too labored for his liking.
“How is she?” Bentaan asked, and her daughter started to cry louder. Jayde undid her seat belt and threw herself at her mother with a heart-wrenching sob.
“Not good, she got hit when the shot glanced off my arm. Damn it, there’s too much blood. What’s the ETA?”
“Ten minutes tops. I’m putting the medics on alert. Can you stop the bleed?” Bentaan’s worry came through in his terse question and Alzaar swallowed the curse bubbling on his tongue, mindful of the wide-eyed, tearful stare of the little girl, who watched his every move.
He smiled at her, and gently moved her out of the way.
“I need room to work on your mother, little one. Let me help her.”
Much to his surprise the tiny human moved instantly. She straightened her spine, bit her lip, and nodded.
“You make my mummy better? Mummy will be okay?”
The whispered question settled deep in his gut and Alzaar nodded as he applied pressure to the wound. He had the equipment onboard to seal the flesh instantly, but he daren’t do so in case of internal injuries. He was also not that familiar with human anatomy. Had the still woman in front of him been Drakan, he wouldn’t have hesitated. Instead he shrugged out of his tunic, balled it up, and pressed it to the wound with as much force as he dared apply.
“Your mother will be fine, Jayde,” Bentaan replied and his gaze connected with Alzaar’s across the little girl’s head. Alzaar knew the worry in his amber eyes reflected his own. This human had to be all right. What on earth would they do with a human child onboard ship, otherwise? “Tell, me have you ever been onboard a starship before, Jayde?”
The little girl swallowed a hiccup and shook her head.
“Then you’re in for a treat. Come up here and you can watch us dock. It’s best if you stay out of the way. Alzaar will take good care of your mother, and once we’re back on the Tamarillion, we’ll take your mother to the sick bay and our medical officer will make her all better.”
Another forlorn hiccup followed but she did walk over to Bentaan and allowed him to pull her on his lap.
“Daddy didn’t get better,” she said, and Alzaar swore.

Author Bio:
Glutton for punishment would be a good description for Doris... at least that's what she hears on an almost daily basis when people find out that she has a brood of nine children, ranging from adult to toddler and lives happily in a far too small house, cluttered with children, pets, dust bunnies, and one very understanding and supportive husband. Domestic goddess she is not.
There is always something better to do after all, like working on the latest manuscript and trying not to scare the locals even more than usual by talking out loud to the voices in her head. Her characters tend to be pretty insistent to get their stories told, and you will find Doris burning the midnight oil on a regular basis. Only time to get any peace and quiet and besides, sleep is for wimps.
She likes to spin sensual, sassy, and sexy tales involving alpha heroes to die for, and heroines who give as good as they get. From contemporary to paranormal, BDSM to F/F, and Ménage, haunting love stories are guaranteed.
